Steering technology, history, and abstraction into ethereal bodies of glass, Passenger features two recent bodies of sculptural work by Vicki Fanning; Upon a moment and Subscriber.
Upon a moment is an installation of three large-scale works made from polycarbonate and flame worked Borosilicate glass alongside the Subscriber series which comprises six ceramic and stained glass works that resemble modern curios.
Fanning was the winner of the 2022 New Zealand Society of Artists in Glass (NZSAG) Innovation in Glass award, Pātaka is thrilled to present Passenger, in partnership with the Sarjeant Gallery Te Whare o Rēhua Whanganui.
