Clothes worth wearing are worth repairing. Stitch It is a clothing repair workshop brought to you by Dove Hospice & Wellness in collaboration with Fashion Revolution New Zealand. In its third iteration, this series aims to empower individuals to extend the lifespan of their clothing through the mastery of sewing and mending skills. Attendees will get the chance to learn the craft of mending seams, sewing buttons, darning socks, patching holes, and even covering stains.
By equipping ourselves with these valuable techniques, we can reduce waste, save money, and make a positive impact on our local environment. What’s more, $10 from each ticket sale will be donated to Dove Hospice & Wellness to support people with advanced diseases and those on a curative path.
