Shut Up & Dance

A 3-day, dance-fuelled summer holiday programme for teens. No dance experience required.

Anyone aged 13-18 welcome.

In creating a welcoming, relaxed, low-pressure environment, students that are interested in dance and performance (but might feel intimidated by a more official dance programme) will learn choreography to music they know and love, and leave each day smiling and satisfied.

The participants will have the opportunity to co-design a performance alongside their peers under the guidance of our expert instructor and Creative Director, Clair Thomas. There will also be an opportunity to perform it flashmob-style on the streets of Wellington, and record on the day. Yeow!

Participants of the holiday programme will also be offered the opportunity to perform in the official 2023 Shut Up & Dance Cuba Dupa Squad!
