If you’re a senior leader looking at ways to advance the diversity agenda of your STEM organisation, or an advocate for equity in STEM, gain new insights at our STEM Diversity afternoon. This session includes talks from leaders in different aspects of diversity, and a panel discussion to discuss the ways organisations and individuals can improve diversity and equity in STEM (as well as the activities that might not work so well).
Speakers include Martyn Loukes BEM (mainstreaming LGBT+), Denise Carter Bennet (neurodiversity), members of the New Zealand Defence Force (women in a traditionally male sector) and Genevieve Doube (cultural diversity).
This session is part of the 19th International Conference of Women Engineers and Science (ICWES19). You’ll also be able to network with conference attendees and check out some of the presentations during the poster session.
