Join us for two three-hour workshops in which we explore what it might mean to be Pākehā and the relevance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi to our contemporary growing lives. This is part of the No8 wire series for Kapiti Coast District Council.

In the first session, we will consider our own relationship to ancestry and the land we find under our feet, as well as the promises of Te Tiriti.

In the second session, we will explore allied action and ways of being that minimise harm to cultivate thriving reciprocity with place and people.

The workshops are designed to build on each other, and commitment to both sessions is required.

This workshop series is a pilot programme, based on values exploration. It has been designed by Pākehā, for Pākehā. All who are interested in learning more about themselves, have struggled in cross-cultural situations and want to be courageous in this time are welcome.

We look forward to learning more together in the spirit of Kotahitanga.
