Sappho Disco

Sappho is a lesbian party brand created by Verity George & The Cowgirl, who have been throwing great gigs for 16 years, providing a haven for women who love women, from 18 to 80+. DJ Nic Tims is on the decks for the 8th & 9th Sappho where you have the whole place to yourself; to get down in the theatre, pose on the velvet chaise longue, flirt in the fairy lit lane, commune in the secret garden, socialise on the street, meet and greet in the sophisticated cocktail bar, or gaze hungrily at the pizzas sizzling in the Taniwha wood fired oven.

It's unusual to have so many women of so many ages in one place at the same time and it gives the event a safe whanau feel. Trans and non binary people who feel this is the event for them are welcome. Garnet Station is a 1920's bungalow on the city fringe, on a bus route and with heaps of parking. Come along, soak up the positive vibes and make a night of it! Bar opens at 6pm. $10 door sales on the night only.
