Featuring more than 40 interesting local gardens of all sizes and styles, the biennial Rotorua Festival of Gardens is being held on November 10, 11 & 12. They range from large country gardens to small city plots, formal clipped to storybook fantasy, fully native to garden art focused so genuinely something for every taste is on the festival programme.
The popular festival has been running for the past 30 years and draws gardening enthusiasts from all over the North Island plus some from the South Island as well.
This year the 'add on' activities have been ramped up to complement the exhibition gardens. They include a variety of talks, demonstrations, sales tables and entertainment including local musicians, dancers and singers to add to the festival atmosphere in many of the gardens.
Refreshments from Devonshire Teas to a sausage sizzles will be available in 10 of the exhibition gardens.

NB Chidllren under 16 are able to attend however, they must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
