Rob Heyes - Songwriter Sessions

Poquito are excited to welcome Rob Heyes as our special guest Songwriter Sessions host for April.

Born and raised in the North of England, Rob has made Wellington his home for the past two decades. He's been involved in music one way or another since he was a teenager from cover bands to singing the lead in Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance at the Wellington Opera House. Somewhere along the way he started writing songs. Sometimes nostalgic, other times contemporary, always deeply personal and heartfelt. Rob has a strong and tuneful voice with a quirky, folky, lyrical style that's easy on the ear.
