Real Talk

We are more than pleased to announce Porirua Womens Centre will be hosting Real Talk in May! The wonderful Tania Carr and Pania Te Paiho provide inspirational talks to encourage connection and hope to wāhine and whānau.

"At Real Talk we are helping to break generational cycles.
We are passionate about using our platform to change the narrative, especially for our rangatahi.
We are helping to shine light on traumatic experiences and normalise discussing these subjects to remove the whakamā (shame).
Through this, we heal and show others who might be going through a similar path right now that they are not alone.
We all have a story, and when we find the courage to speak, we heal. When we speak, we free ourselves and when we speak, we help others heal too."
