Massage therapists (level 5 minimum) attending should be competent in their knowledge of anatomy and physiology, massage strokes and basic draping.

The subject matter in this course will discuss fertility issues and miscarriage, birth trauma, the birthing process, postnatal recovery, pelvic floor dysfunction. Please be aware that these subjects can be a trigger for some.
Marina locke has traveled to teach in canada, netherlands, australia, and new zealand. She is a canadian trained massage therapist, doula (not currently practicing) and yoga teacher. She has studied birth with many including ina may gaskin on the farm and with gloria lemay’s wise woman way of birth. She has specialised in pregnancy massage since 1994 when she opened a clinic within a hospital’s maternity floor that offered pre/postnatal massage, birth support/doula, and infant massage. She became a pregnancy yoga teacher in 1998.
