Otago Museum

Tūhura Otago Museum is the ideal place to get ready for the game! We’re staying open late for football fans to enjoy the best of what the Museum has to offer before the big matches.

The whole Museum will stay open until 7pm. There will be live music with some of Dunedin's most talented musicians, workshops, tours, planetarium shows, science interactives, and more to keep you entertained! And you can even get your team’s colours painted on your face, so you are match-ready at our free face-painting station!

Wander through the galleries, take in a free guided mini-tour, or take a walk amongst the butterflies in the warmth of the Tropical Forest and release a newly-hatched butterfly at First Flight.

Precinct Café will have a full food and drinks menu, and our Shop will be open until 7pm so you can buy some gorgeous gifts too!

With plenty of parking nearby and a short walk from the Forsyth Barr Stadium, Tūhura Otago Museum is the perfect place to get hot food, drinks and enjoy a warm evening indoors before the big game.
