Otago RAW Comedy Quest

Aspiring funny people from Otago and around the country will be taking to the stage this winter to compete in RAW, a rite of passage for up and coming kiwi comedians and New Zealand’s largest and most prestigious open mic comedy competition.

And YOU can show your support and come along to one or all of the 4 RAW heats happening in Dunedin on August 10, 11 & 12.

Each heat will have 3 judges including some of Dunedin's most esteemed writers, performers, directors, comedians and story tellers and will be MC'd by a range of more experienced local comedy talent.

Supporting the RAW Comedy Quest is a great way to see future rock star comedians, before they sell out and start charging a million dollars per ticket at a stadium gig. You could be there when it all starts, you could brag to all your friends about witnessing their first ever performance. Like watching the Beatles perform at a Liverpool wedding in the late 50s.
