2023 NATIONAL TOUR @ Waiuku

The best of the New Zealand Mountain Film Festival National Tour is once again coming back to Waiuku & Franklin with a double feature! We’ll be screening the best of the festival including NZ made and international films across two nights - two completely different film selections.

The festival started in 2002 and is internationally recognised as one of the world’s premier mountain film festival events. It’s NZ’s original mountain film festival with an international adventure film maker’s competition, as well as a highly regarded NZ made division.

Pukekohe Tramping Club and the Lions Club of Waiuku have again teamed up to bring the Festival National Tour to Waiuku & Franklin after such a successful initial Film Festival in 2022 which raised over $1200 for the Starship Hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Upgrade project.

The films will be screened at the Waiuku Lions Station, Belgium Street. The Hall seats just 80 and our goal is a sell-out. All profits from the films will be used to provide a sponsorship package to either Outward Bound or Spirit of Adventure for a Senior College student who live in Franklin.

Tickets are $15pp Early Bird admission for either night, or a Two night Concession of $25pp. Door sales (if seats remain) $20pp cash only NO Efpos

Follow either of the Waiuku Lions or Pukekohe Tramping Club Facebook pages for additional regular updates and promotion infomation.
