Nick Rado - US Comedy Special Live Taping

American Record Label is producing New Zealand's premier clean stand-up comedian Nick Rado's second stand-up comedy special.

The special will be taped over two nights (9th and 10th June) at the magnificent Room TWENTY5; this second comedy special will be recorded and then played throughout America on SiriusXM on Laugh USA. It will then be available for world download on iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Spotify and all other digital and physical audio retailers.

Nick Rado is a Māori/Croatian multi-award-winning writer, MC and clean stand-up comedian, hailed as one of the funniest comedians in New Zealand. With a career spanning over 17 years, He can also be heard every Saturday morning on his Nationwide breakfast show 'The Sporting Rumble' on The Rock; Nick has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry with an impressive list of accolades and achievements.

Nick achieved a significant milestone in his career as the first Kiwi comic to record a US comedy special for Drybar, which has over 7.8 million followers. His debut album, On-Trend, made it to number 4 on all albums sold on iTunes and can be heard across America on SiriusXM's Laugh USA.

Nick's stand-up comedy skills are exceptional, as demonstrated by his performances at the Sydney Opera House for the prestigious Just for Laughs Sydney showcase and opening for renowned comedians such as Rob Brydon, Aziz Ansari, and Russell Howard on their nationwide tours. Nick is also the only comedian to win the NZ Comedy Guild Award for 'Best Comedy MC' six times, and in 2019, he was named the 'Best Male Comedian' at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards.

Nick is the host of two award-winning podcasts, 'Socrates Walks into a Bar' and 'Sporting Rumble,' both were Gold Winners for Best Comedy and Best Sports Podcast, respectively, at the NZ Podcast Awards 2022.

He also has numerous TV comedy appearances, including The Comedy Channel Australia, The Nightwatchmen, Narrow World of Sports for Fox Sports Australia, TVNZ and TV3 Comedy Galas, as well as acting on Rhys Darby's sitcom Short Poppies on Netflix.

Nick was also an established TV writer from 2014 - 2021; Rado was head writer for over 300 episodes (as well as a recurring guest panellist) for TV3's award-winning topical news comedy show, 7 Days,
