New Year's Race Day at Tauherenikau

Bring the family and join us for our first (and most famous) race day of the new year! With live music, kids bouncy castles, miniature train rides and food vans as well as a fantastic line-up of racing events.
Entry is $20 per person at the gate. Kids are free!

Transport Options
The club provides a pick-up and drop-off service from the Featherston railway station on new year race days. The train leaves Wellington at 9.55am and returns around 5.00pm. All you have to do is to walk-in, walk-out and have a great day at Tauherenikau!

Hire a Mini Marquee
During our annual race meets, we invite you to enjoy a shady spot under the trees for ten or more people in your own private 3x3m marquee, as part of our marquee village. To hire a mini marquee, please email sara@tauherenikau.co.nz
