Nelson Fringe Fest: Hawkman 1

If you missed it last year, this is your chance to see one of the hit performers of the 2022 Fringe perform Hawkman, and for those clamouring for new material the world premiere of Hawkman 2: Walking on Eggshells, in which Hawkman is inexplicably cancelled.

Hawkman is an hour long stand-up show about birds of prey, superheroes, time travel, Thomas the Tank Engine, and most scarily of all, the emotions of men. In 2023, Hawkman returns! Less than a year after the critical acclaim of Hawkman, the tables have turned and our hero finds himself cancelled and on the edges of acceptable society. Can Hawkman look inwards and find salvation? Will a good read of his creative writing age 13-15 help him find redemption? It seems unlikely, but it's a shot he has to take if he is to return as the hero Nelson deserves.
