Mural Workshop #2 with Emma Jane Ormsby

Attention young artists!

Mairangi Arts Centre & Bays In Action have been collaborating on developing a youth art initiative within the Bays.

We are pleased to receive support by Hibiscus & Bays Local Board and Resene Paints to create a community collaborative mural with artist Emma Jane Ormsby.

We invite youth ages 11 - 25 years old to take part in this exciting opportunity to create a collaborative mural led by artist Emma Jane Ormsby.

Emma Jane Ormsby is an award winning New Zealand Māori artist of Ngāti Maniapoto and Ngāti Porou descent. In 2020, her mural with Westlake Girls won first place in the Resene Mural Masterpieces in 2020.

Join us on Saturday 28th Oct 10:30-12:30pm for our second session of our mural workshop series where we will be painting on the Mural Wall Panels . Participation is free but we have limited spaces available so be sure to book!
