Reset from your week and explore wellbeing in nature within the tranquil surrounds of Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari's Northern Enclosure.
Spend the morning cultivating a sensory awareness of nature in a slow and appreciative way and exploring the link between you and the world of nature. You will be guided throughout the morning by expert guides Rosie and Joyce who will offer a variety of invitations to notice, reflect and interact with the environment.
Through purposeful slow walks, focusing on your senses and the gentle guided movement of Qigong you can explore your connections with the forest and surrounding landscape and feel your stresses drift away. All invitations are optional with some experiences as part of the group and some on your own. If you already feel a connection with nature this experience will help deepen your appreciation.
We will walk at a slow pace with stops and the track gradients and distance should not pose a problem to anyone of reasonable walking ability. We will be spending the morning in northern enclosure off Hicks Road on the Cambridge side of Maungatautari.
