Mike Pignéguy is one of New Zealand’s most experienced boating experts. A Chief Officer of ships for the Merchant Navy by the time he was 25, Mike went on to freelance worldwide as a skipper and captain on wide variety of commercial vessels, superyachts and sailing vessels. He was a Director of Sealink NZ and is an accredited Coastguard and RYA Tutor. A published author, he is also a freelance writer for Professional Skipper and various other magazines on a range of professional maritime topics.
