Medieval Family Day

We are going back to the Middle Ages with a day of family fun!

Come down to the Museum Reserve and walk among the wandering minstrels, watch a sword fight, be entertained by our jester, and create something wonderful at the Medieval Makerspace.

The Museum will be packed, inside and out, with blacksmithing, catapulting, weavers and crafts, and live medieval music performances.

There will be food trucks onsite, and even some mulled wine to get you into the spirit of medieval merrymaking. You can take a workshop on quill making and calligraphy and listen to some fascinating expert talks from our Museum experts; there is something for everyone!
