Mau Rākau Demonstration

Mau rākau are traditional Māori weapon-based martial arts. Perhaps the most iconic traditional weapon is the taiaha, as held by the rangatira on the New Zealand coat of arms.

Join us for a demonstration of this celebrated taonga and witness the incredible forms, footwork, speed, and power kept alive in this traditional artform.
