Māori Language Week Māori Waiata Ukulele Jam

It's Māori Language Week and we've got a Ukulele Jam to celebrate! Come along to play your ukulele, sing or play any other instrument, or just enjoy the music.

Song Book with ukulele chords will available from the library before the event and songs will be on the screen on the day.

We’ll be singing lots of old favourites including Ka Pioioi, Tai Aroha, Tutira Mai, Pō Karekare Ana, Mehe Manu Rere, Hoki Mai, E Papā Waiari and modern classic Six60’s Pepeha.

Registration will assist seating purposes, but is not essential.
