Join us in this enticing Riverside Education workshop that encourages intergenerational bonding while promoting environmental stewardship. Designed for children and their adults, this workshop aims to deepen participants' appreciation for nature and promotes self-sufficiency through hands-on exploration of the natural world.
Led by our facilitator, Tanja, participants will rekindle their innate connection to nature by learning to identify and collect edible plants, including those frequently disregarded as ordinary weeds.
Turning the foraged goodness into a mouth-watering pesto and eating it around a cozy bonfire with a homemade damper is the highlight of this workshop.
Join us at Riverside as we combine fun, food and nature in this fantastic opportunity for quality time with your favourite young person.
Please note that this workshop is specifically for adult-child pairs and that it is weather-dependent.
