Tamariki are invited to come along to Wellington Museum to create their submission for the 7th Wellington Children’s Art Exhibition. All artwork submitted goes on display in the exhibition.
This year’s theme is “what makes me unique”. Help your tamariki think creatively about what makes them unique. What are my favourite hobbies, animals or toys? What special traditions do we have in our whānau? What makes me happy? What are my special talents?
No bookings required, paper and art supplies are provided at the workshops.
Tamariki can also work on their submissions at home and drop them in to Capital E (4 Queens Wharf, Wellington) up until submissions close on 11 September. Artwork must be supplied on A3 paper and can be drawings, paintings, prints or mixed media.
There will be a certificate presentation at the exhibition’s opening ceremony, where we recognise all young artists who participate in the exhibition.
Suitable for ages 3-12.
Donations appreciated.
