In celebration of Sea Week, come along for an update on local sea lions and help navigate ways in which we can welcome back a taoka species. This session will address the status of the species, highlight local legendary sea lions, address difficulties encountered in their urban settings, and discuss ways to move forward.

This session is aimed at residents based centrally in Ōtepoti, highlighting sea lions at Brighton, St Clair, St Kilda, Tomahawk and Smaills – but all who are interested are welcome to join!

Another session is based at Broad Bay Community Hall on March 12th aimed for residents on Otago Peninsula – highlighting sea lions based around its beaches and inlets.
