Letterpress and Bookbinding Fair/Open Day

Bookbinders and letterpress printers from around the country combine for the Wellington Wayzgoose, November 24-26. The long weekend features a dinner, lectures; library, printery and museum visits as well as an open day at the only working type foundry in the Southern Hemisphere (Mangaroa near Upper Hutt). On the Saturday afternoon the WCBA, the Wellington Centre for Book Arts, will have an open day—come and see old printing presses, linotype machines and bookbinders in operation. A wide range of printing gear, papers and products will be on sale.
