This course is an opportunity to learn how to sew.
Bea will take you through a simple project of either a lined bag or an apron. You will learn how to cut out fabric from a pattern and put it together with a sewing machine.
Bring along some cotton fabric which can be offcuts from a previous project or recycled pillowcases, shirts or other clothing. Bea will also supply some fabric.
If you have them, also bring scissors, thread, pins, and your sewing machine!
Some sewing machines and other resources will be available and is accessible by wheelchair.
This event is part of EcoFest, an annual month-long festival taking place Saturday 18 March – Sunday 16 April 2023.
