Land of the Long Long Drive
By Catriona Tipene and Ryan Cundy
Presented by Horse With No Name

A classic road story with a kiwi twist!

Wētā, Tuna and Kārearea are mates of Gary the Glowworm, and are travelling to attend his rave in the cave birthday party. The friends face a number of trials on the road, and learn that despite their differences, they can achieve their goals by working together!

A tale for Kiwi kids, featuring iconic NZ creatures, landscapes and fresh waiata by NZ singer-songwriter Benny Tipene. Winner of the 3–8-year-old section of Playmarket’s Plays for the Young Competition, Land of the Long Long Drive brings you a laugh out loud, inspiring adventure of three unlikely heroes.

Thanks to Capital E National Theatre for Children for supporting the development of this show through their National Creative Residency programme.

Relaxed performances: Weds 12 & Thurs 20 April 10am
A Relaxed Performance is a stage production different to your usual theatre show. It is constructed with the needs of disabled audience members in mind, particularly those with intellectual disabilities and those who are on the autism spectrum. Here at Circa we understand that, for certain groups of people, the theatre can be a difficult place to navigate with all its codes and conventions.

Weds 12 & Thurs 20 April 10am
$15 General Admission or $50 Family Pass (4 tickets)
