Join us for a class filled with mind body connection, awareness and strengthening. This class is perfect for beginners who are looking to challenge themselves. Focused on body alignment and breath awareness, building muscle strength while maintaining a gentle body flow. Come join us, all abilities are welcome.

Kind Society is run by Kris Wilson. She is a highly qualified Yoga teacher, Pilates teacher and anatomy/physiology academic (BS University of Oregon, Veterinary Surgeon MVB,MRCVS University College Dublin). She spent years learning about anatomy and physiology as she studied to be a Veterinarian. She practiced small animal medicine for eight years in Dunedin but found the family/work balance too difficult and gave it up to spend time raising her kids. She lectured, for a short time, at the Otago polytechnic for veterinary nursing and this was when she started to develop the bug for teaching. Her passion and knowledge of how the body works lead her to enrol in a yoga teachers training course. She has since delivered the anatomy/physiology lectures to the new Dru yoga trainees and just recently added Pilates teachers training to her achievements. Her journey has continued to open doors to wellness, creating harmony in her and others lives. She loves nothing more than to share her knowledge with others and help them create a life that aligns their mind and body!
