An evening of music and film to support our Whangārei friends.

Featuring a programme of great local talent: Andrew London, AJ Crawshaw, In The Shallows, Michelle Scullion, Charlotte Kerrigan & Steph Casey, Jess Deacon, Crash & Burn - and more!

This concert is from our community to yours - all proceeds raised from this concert go to the Whangārei Mayoral Fund*.

Kāpiti Coast District Council has been allocated Whangārei as part of “adopt a community”, being run by Local Government New Zealand, a scheme helping target financial help to a particular area of need by matching councils with a council badly hit by the cyclone.

*Whangārei Mayoral Relief Fund will be allocated to those in most need using select criteria. Should it reach a point where community needs have been met in this response, any remaining funds will be allocated to other Cyclone Gabrielle-affected districts within Aotearoa. Examples of how the fund will be used include: dealing with septic tank overflow, filling water tanks, clearing debris from properties, supporting individuals/families faced with hardships as a result of the emergency, assisting small businesses impacted by the emergency where appropriate, replacement of items that cannot be insured – for example fences and footpaths, and assisting people with basic needs including clothes and bedding.
