Jess Deacon's debut EP Lost in Love is due to be released in early June 2023, and will be performed live at the EP Release Performance on Saturday 10 June, 2023 at St Peters Hall, Paekākāriki.

Jess Deacon - intuitive songwriter, artful vocalist. Inspired by jazz, folk, and classic rock

Drawn to music that stirs the soul, Jess is a songwriter who beautifully weaves poetic lyrics through evocative melodies. Turning personal stories into shared experiences through purposeful words and pairing them with deserving musical accompaniment is an art form; one that Jess does well. The release of her long-overdue debut EP Lost in Love celebrates the first collection of many original songs that long to be shared. Learn more about Jess on her website - jessdeacon.co.nz

Love is an important thing for humans to be human. Love for self, or for another. Love from others. Love for something special. Everything else we need in life comes after the need for love. It represents human connection, a reason to be, and is the foundation for the will to carry on.

Being lost in love is only naturally part of the experience.

With an eight-strong band of musical collaborators, Jess will perform her Lost in Love EP in its entirety, along with some later-written songs, and a few wonderful borrowed and artfully arranged tunes, too.
