Ancient Wisdom for Modern Living

Sunday March 19th 12-3pm
Kindred Studio - $55

We bring Asana, Pranayama, Meditation and Yoga Nidra together with new insights and techniques to enhance your practice and bring vitality and new possibilities to your life.

This Workshop introduces the Chakras in a meaningful way with practical techniques that you can integrate into your regular practice and guidance to an authentic experience of your Chakras

Chakra theory and practice is fundamental to traditional yoga and allows for an authentically deeper practice and exploration of the Self.
But what are they, exactly?

Colourful flowers, rainbow vortices of light, in the body but not of the body, each with Sanskrit and other names, sounds, deities, animals, emotions, glands, elements, powers, characteristics? Without guidance, working with the Chakras can be a confusing, often misleading and disappointing experience.

Our aim is to de-mystify the Chakras - their meaning, symbolism, significance and how to apply this knowledge to your practice. On this workshop, you will learn about the seven major Chakras, how they are connected and interact, and how to work with your Chakra system. This workshop will give you a clear understanding of the qualities, skills and challenges can arise and manifest with the awakening of each Chakra, allowing you to progress smoothly and safely as you deepen your practice. We teach a step-by-step approach and practical skills to give you the understanding, support and confidence to integrate the Chakras into your yoga practice and enrich your life.
