Friends of Rotorua Museum Archival Film Viewing

Friends of Rotorua Museum present an hour of archival film footage for your viewing .

An hour screening of some archival film footage will show you the complexity of converting the "volcanic wastelands" of the central plateau - the Taupo Volcanic Zone, into the farming district we know today. If that's not enough, we also have a snapshot of New Zealand in 1959. It has a promotional feel to it, an enticement to people in the more crowded parts of the Commonwealth to settle in our amazing place.

You are entitled to two guest passes each year to bring guests to Friends of the Museum events. Guest passes will be emailed out to members shortly.

Your and your guests must have tickets to gain entry to the event.
