Join us for an exhilarating night of mystery and puzzles at Woodlands Homestead on Whitikahu Road, with themed decorations to set the spooky Friday 13th atmosphere! Gather your team and get ready for a mystery night like no other. And don't forget to "dress to scare" in themed attire, perfectly fitting the spine-chilling Friday the 13th vibe!

If you're a fan of Quiz Nights or Escape Rooms, this special puzzle-solving event is tailor-made for you! Prepare for a thrilling race against the clock as you step into the homestead. Your mission: to explore and uncover hidden clues, solve mind-bending puzzles, and piece together the truth of what truly happened.

Here's the captivating story: A prominent family's daughter has tragically been found dead on the eve of a grand birthday celebration. Overwhelmed with the workload, the town's only detective is struggling to cope. Determined to solve the murder, the grieving parents have offered a substantial reward to assist in finding the killer. Eight groups of private investigators are invited to compete, each aiming to be the one to crack the case. Will your team be among them?

You'll have one hour to navigate the intricate homestead, diligently hunt down clues, unravel perplexing puzzles, and ultimately identify the culprit behind this heinous crime.

Get ready for an evening of mystery, adrenaline, and collaborative problem-solving. Will your team emerge as the victorious sleuths?

The Details:

Two sessions are available: 6.15 pm and 8.30 pm.

Teams of 4 - 6 people. This is an R13 event.

You are welcome to make up your own teams, and smaller groups may be put together to make up the required sizes. If you are booking for less than 4, please contact us on events@confinement.co.nz and we can organize to combine your group with another.

Meet in Garden Grove Bar and Café. Food and beverages are available at the Cafe.
The Bar is open from 5 pm till 10.30 pm. The game briefing will be held in the Bar, the game starts 15 minutes after the briefing time. This game will take approx. 1 hour.
As the game is played in the homestead and involves going up and down the staircase, it is recommended that suitable footwear be worn.
