Fiafia Festival 2023

Warm Pacific Greetings to all of you!

Fiafia is a Polynesian word that has several meanings; "happy, exciting performance or to display happily."

Fiafia on the Point, is the inaugural Pasifika Festival to be held on the waterfront precinct at Catalina Bay, Hobsonville Point! The event brings together community & pacific culture! Join us for traditional pacific dance, singing, food, demo & more! Starting at 10AM and going to 10PM, you will have plenty to see, do, and experience with performers entertaining you with the sights and sounds, and food vendors bringing you the smells and tastes of island culture to your taste buds, all into the evening 10PM.

Try your hand at arts and crafts, learn through the demonstrations hosted at the demo fale's everything from weaving, dancing and or learn the basics of fire dancing!

There will be lots of stalls from community, business, and other services for you to experience. As the afternoon continues, the performances and singers move into a concert feeling with the mix of modern performers and cultural artists! If that's not enough, a fashion show with pacific wears for you to see and much more!
