Meditation Essentials
Four evenings with author, marathoner, meditation teacher Jogyata Dallas – an overview of the four principle yoga paths and introducing the most effective meditation techniques. With guided exercises nightly.

Teaching Children’s Meditation
A Tuesday evening sharing with parents / teachers, exploring the many practical benefits of simple meditation exercises for children. Course coordinator Golden Grove school principal Helena Royden.

Children’s Art and gallery display
Unleash your child’s artistic side! Between 2:00-4:00pm, come to a fun afternoon with acrylic paints, all materials supplied. Brushes, sponges and colors inspire children to discover their natural creativity - they can share their imaginative drawings in a proposed gallery of peace-themed children’s artworks. Suitable for children 5-10 years old.

Concert of the Heart
Members of the Sri Chinmoy Centre will offer a selection of meditative compositions drawn from the vast musical legacy of the late spiritual teacher Sri Chinmoy. Some of these song-chants are interactive kirtan style, inviting audience participation.

Challenge! veteran ultra runners and adventurer sharing their meditation secrets

Two consecutive Thursday evenings exploring meditation techniques and sharing stories from the lives of four guest speakers, their insights into harnessing inner confidence, embracing change through meditation. Guided visualizations; live spiritual music interlude; a fitness and running talk with 6/10 day ultra-runner Dhiraja McBride; and ‘No Limits’, a talk by adventurer Dave Mason, a veteran of over 700 wilderness trips sharing with you ways to unlock your potential and enrich your own life. An informal, inspiring free evening.
