Festival of Fibres 2023

Creative Fibre Wellington warmly invites you to Festival of Fibres 2023, Creative Fibre’s biennial festival. We have planned a full programme of exhibition, fashion, education, trades, and displays for you to enjoy.

The festival venue, Te Rauparaha Arena, is conveniently located in central Porirua (translated as two harbours in English) just 25km north of Wellington. Porirua city is easily accessed from State Highway 1 or State Highway 59 (the old SH1).

Free parking (limited to 3 hours) is available at the arena which offers a café, heated swimming pool, and gymnasium for your use whilst you are with us. Supermarkets, ATM machines, cafés and shops are close by.

With the exception of the national exhibition, everything will be held under one roof – opening ceremony, presentation of national exhibition awards, education, trades, displays, and a fun fashion show.
