The F.I.N.E Ideas Fest Talanoa Symposium brings together prominent Pacific academics, writers, researchers, community leaders, and thinkers for a two-day talanoa symposium featuring individual talks and panel discussions.
Hosted by Fofonga for Pacific Research Excellence, Waipapa Taumata Rau – University of Auckland’s Pacific research platform and sponsored by the Pasifika Medical Association Knowledge Hub at Te Poutoko Ora a Kiwa, Waipapa Taumata Rau – University of Auckland’s Centre for Pacific and Global Health, this free symposium intentionally amplifies Pacific Rainbow, Queer, LGBTQIA+ MVPFAFF+ voices in helping to build Pacific Rainbow+ research and knowledge in service of our communities through talanoa. All presenters and panellists are Pacific Rainbow+ scholars, creatives, community leaders, researchers, and community activators.
F.I.N.E Ideas Fest celebrates the power of collective leadership, visionary thinking, community building and radical hope in the research and knowledge space.
