Imagine a rainbow, and imagine that rainbow exploding. Now imagine taking that sensory experience and translating it into music for an orchestra to perform. Sounds pretty excellent, no?
The Exploding Rainbow Orchestra will be performing ten brand new original songs, written by some of the country's best and most interesting songwriters specifically for the orchestra. The songwriters will be performing their songs backed by a 28-piece ensemble of strings, horns, and all manner of other good noise-making devices.
Featuring a collection of Aotearoa's finest musicians and composers, with members of The Beths, Princess Chelsea, Hans Pucket, Phoebe Rings, Being., Fazerdaze, Treenurse, Skilaa, Yokozuna, and many many more lending their talents. This is an incredibly special event you can't afford to miss!
