Elton @ The Dome: CANCELLED

Michael Stodart is an internationally seasoned musician, singer/songwriter. Throughout his career he has shared the stage with musical giants such as Van Morrison, Ian Dury and Joe Cocker as well as collaborating in the studio with legendary Elton John producer Gus Dudgeon. After spending 25 years performing, writing and recording in London Michael Stodart returned to New Zealand in 2015.

In 2020 Stodart established “The Elton John Experience”, a spectacular showcase capturing Elton’s extravagance and musical prowess. Backed by a talented, heart stopping band with
David Burch on drums, Alex Powley on bass and Arahi on guitar, Michael Stodart and “The Elton John Experience” have exploded onto the scene having sold-out shows across the country and recently performing at the 2022 NZ Event Awards and New Years Eve at Napier SoundShell.

Continuing into 2023, Michael Stodart and “The Elton John Experience” have an exciting year ahead including a forthcoming headline performance for The Zuru Night Glow, Balloons Over Waikato on March 18th.
