Your chance to hear some of Auckland's top performers come together in a single concert to celebrate and support Music in Eden, the new music arm of Eden Arts' longstanding Artists in Eden event.

International opera singer and star of Auckland's 2022 production of Chess at the Dame Kiri Te Kawana Theatre, Edward Laurenson, will be performing alongside an outstanding range of other talent including NZ Chamber Soloists' Katherine Austin (piano) and James Tennant (cello), and the APO's James Jin (violin) with Xing Wang (piano). Come and hear Katherine showcase our beautiful new grand piano with one of her favourite Chopin solos! Jazz lovers will enjoy the mellow tones of Richard Adams and John Quigley from the ever-popular Nairobi Trio, and we also celebrate the next generation of musicians with Madeleine Xiao (award-winning pianist), Kimberley Yuan (cellist) and singer/ songwriter Montgomery. Special thanks to all of the above performers for donating their time and creative talents to this event.

Funds raised will support Music in Eden, our free live lunchtime music every Friday. This series offers free music to the community every week as well as invaluable performance opportunities for musicians. Working in partnership, the Eden Arts Trust and the Mt Eden Village Centre are delighted to present this new music programme in conjunction with the purchase of a grand piano at the centre, making it all possible.
