Curate: a Small Works Exhibition

Mitchell Studios is once again delighted to be collaborating with our interior design partners at Tate Design to present our December group exhibition - Curate.

This small works exhibition will bring together a diverse group of New Zealand artists drawn from our existing gallery whanau and beyond. Each artist has been invited to submit a maximum of 3 artworks, measuring no more than 40cm in size.

Participating artists include: Amanda Wilkinson, Andrea Robinson, Annette Straugheir, Bruce Ingoe, Carol Theologo, Carrie Carey, Charlotte Hird, Charlotte Suggate, Darrell White, Debbie Jeffery, Denise Durkin, Elaine Wright-Williams, Fran Zukowski, Hannah Schickedanz, Helen Keen, Jenny Caldwell, Jill Sutton, Jo Kreyl, Judith Maxim, Kelly Rowe, Kylie Law, Lee Robinson, Lindsay Blakeley, Mel McKenzie/The Penny Drops, Natalie Holland, Phillip Waddington, Rachel Radford, Sarah Jane Weaves, Shawna Chow, Tatyana Kulida and Veronica Young.

Curate opens to the public from 10am on Friday 8 December and will run until Christmas. Plus! The gallery is extending its opening hours and will be open on Sundays during December.

The spirit of our small works exhibition is cash & carry however we will restrict this until after the first week - purchased artworks will remain on display until at least Friday 15 December before being made available to take home - just in time for Christmas!
