Community Garden Presents TAYHANA (Arg/Mex)

Facilitators of last month's party starring Ehua, Tāmaki Makaurau's Community Garden keep the high quality club heat coming heading our way, with the announcement Argentine DJ and producer Tayhana will be moving the crowd at Neck of the Woods on 21st July. A significantly impactful artist on a global scale, Tayhana applied her production skills to Spanish pop icon Rosalía's Grammy Award-winning 2022 album MOTOMAMI (on the track 'CUUUUuuuuuute'), and is co-founder of Latin American label / collective HiedraH Club de Baile — promoting "the singularity of identity and cultural minorities in Latin America in order to create a new libertarian policy concerning the joy of bodies". Releasing her own tracks and remixes via such imprints as N.A.A.F.I., SVBKVLT and Salviatek, the Mexico City-based artist will be joined by local trailblazers Creamy Mami and e.t.no.home. (hi-fi sci-fi).
