The theme of this year's Conference is 'Living Coeliac Safe – Challenges and Successes' and will be well-supported by speakers bringing their wealth of knowledge and experience. A range of topics will be covered in an informative full day of presentations and there will be plenty of scope for socialising and sampling coeliac-safe gluten-free food.

The agenda includes a breakfast Medical Seminar for health professionals, followed by the main Conference. A range of speaker presentations from well-known gastroenterologists including Dr. Jason Tye-Din and Professor Robert (Bob) Anderson from Australia and a panel discussion with the Coeliac NZ Medical Advisory Panel, will be supported by specialists speaking on topics of psychology, nutrition, and diet.

For those newly diagnosed with coeliac disease, you will also learn why following a strict gluten-free diet is so important, and how to manage persistent intestinal inflammation and ongoing symptoms. You will come away with practical tips for living on a gluten-free diet and understand why gluten exposure impacts your health including mental wellbeing.

Being able to talk to someone in your local community to get support and share knowledge and experience of living with coeliac disease can make an enormous difference to your accepting the diagnosis. That is why this year attendees will have a wide variety of ways to engage and meet other attendees and share experiences with the Coeliac NZ Board.

We have also partnered with the Gluten Free Food Festival, which will be running concurrently in the same venue. There will be an ample opportunity to attend the festival (with free private access for all Conference attendees) to enjoy sampling some yummy gluten-free food and take some home with you as well!

Parking for this event is complimentary.
