Join us on the weekend of 2 and 3 September for the return of our delightfully offbeat classical music crawl, Classical on Cuba. The full programme has been released, and we've got an eclectic and vibrant lineup, with over 80 shows featuring more than 40 groups across 12 laidback venues.

This year’s Classical on Cuba offers a wide range of hand-picked events and performances that range from the stirring string ensemble of Cellophonia, to the deep, woven ambient landscapes of Ora Atua (Grammy-award-winning taonga pūoro practitioner Jerome Kavanagh and celebrated composer Michael Norris). This is an exhibition of the richness and range of modern classical music. There's truly something for everybody.

Tickets are $12 per performance, or you can buy 8 or more for $10 each. Lots of shows sold out fast last year, so make sure you secure tickets for you and your whānau!

For those seeking an all-encompassing musical experience, there are four longer Feature Concerts in this year’s festival: the legendary NZ Trio at the Goethe-Institut ($25 tickets); the aforementioned Oro Atua at Nood homeware and furniture store ($25 tickets); The Whistledowns playing Bridgerton hits at City Gallery ($25 tickets); and, fresh from sold-out NZ Fringe showings, the utterly sensational jazz-orchestral fusion of the 55-piece Other Futures Big Band & Gallery Orchestra at St Peters ($30 tickets).

Visit our website to see the full programme, read about the performers, and to get your tickets.
