The programme features "Messe de Minuit pour Noel" (Midnight Mass for Christmas), by French composer Marc-Antoine Charpentier. "Messe de Minuit pour Noel" was composed about 1694, and is based on the tunes of ten French Christmas carols. It will be followed by a selection of Christmas carols old and new.
The Tauranga Civic Choir, under the musical direction of Nigel Williams, will be accompanied by Douglas Mews on organ and Leon Gray on piano.
Tickets $20, school children free.
