The first Brooklyn Festival in 13 years will be happening on Saturday 11 November in Harrison Street and at the Brooklyn Community Centre. The event will involve ten live acts, over 50 stalls of community groups and artisans, and a wide variety of food and drink.

The events kicks off at 3pm with family fun. There will be bouncy castles, costumed characters, and performances from Anika Moa and Fun and Funner! A community stage will be running where young and old can come and share a song or talent.

Heading into the evening, Vogelmorn Community Group is pulling together an incredible line-up of Wellington acts including "Ingrid & The Ministers" and many more. Performances will roll through until 10:30pm from our truck stage in Harrison Street.

Food vendors at the event will include Penthouse Cinema, 1852 Pub & Kitchen, Chimichurri, Common Good Coffee, Smoked & Pickled, Super Donut Hero, Hong Kong Foodie, Papa Pekas and more.

This event is being run in partnership between Two Todman and Brooklyn Community Centre, with funding support from Pub Charity, New Zealand Community Trust, The Vogelmorn Foundation, The Brooklyn Resource Centre Trust, and Wellington City Council. We would also like to acknowledge the generous support of 1852 Pub & Kitchen for providing parking, Jarvis and Lowndes for electrical work, Vogelmorn Precinct for artist bookings and event support, and Kennard's Hire for generous discounts on equipment.
