Celebrate Josephine’s Birthday!

Reserve your tickets for our box locomotive workshop in celebration of Josephine’s 151st birthday – all a-card-board!

Come on down for a fun morning of train design and decoration. We have all the supplies for you to create the ultimate train costume, just grab a carriage and get engineering.

First pick your locomotive colour: green like Josephine, black like JA 1274, red like a little caboose or blue like a certain tank engine. Then it’s time to a choo-choo choose a train themed name, design the wheels for your boogie and don’t forget to attach the chimney, then its full steam ahead!

And there’s a spot prize for the best locomotive transformation. You could be the lucky winner of a double pass excursion with Dunedin Railways.

All participants under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a guardian for the duration of the workshop.
