Cabaret singer Jessie Cassin (Blackbird Ensemble) is renowned for breathing new life into old American Songbook Classics. In this chapter, Jessie invites you to her carefully curated selection of lesser-known songs and stories by the composer Irving Berlin.

Joined by virtuoso Pianist Maria Mo, APO Violinist Charmian Keay, and Jazz guitarist Sam Swindells, this Cabaret journey begins at the inception of Irving Berlin's life in Lower East Side New York. From his early years as Israel Baline, a Jewish immigrant whose family escaped Porgroms in the Russian Empire, to his ascent as a great Jewish-American composer.
