One year in the making, Alphabethead and Young Gho$t are finally ready to uncork the much anticipated follow up to their award-nominated debut album, Bad Taste - the creatively named Bad Taste II. The pair have been working silently in their Whanganui record-room/home-studio and finally emerge with 14 tracks of Hip Hop psychedelia to take unsuspecting ears by storm. Equipped with an eclectic sound palette drawing heavily from 1970s Prog Rock and Spaghetti Western Film Soundtracks, this is a body of work that is both sonically varied and entirely cohesive, made with love and inspired by sample-heavy creations from artists such as Madlib, RZA and MF Doom.
Bad Taste II will be supported by Bad Taste's very first countrywide tour, with gigs and tea-breaks planned in Whanganui, Pōneke, Ōhinehou and Tamaki Makaurau, flanked by a cast of insanely talented support acts. We cordially invite you to come be serenaded by the dual-pronged experience of Young Gho$t's lyrical creativity and Alphabethead's turntable wizardry.

It's shaping up to be a night of beautiful, varied and intense music, with support from Whanganui's anarcho-electronic-punk of Displeasure, drum-synth-deluge aural sculptures from BIRDPARTY and the high-energy partying-starting electro from XRVR!
